In the world of KTM 950 and 990 Adventure builds, upgrades often fall into two categories: cosmetic changes or complex modifications. This headlight sits in neither. It is a focused, functional component designed to improve visibility, simplify installation and elevate the overall front-end presence of the bike.
Developed by 3Dit, this LED headlight is a complete replacement unit, engineered as a direct, plug and play solution.
A Clean, Integrated System
At its core, the unit is a fully assembled LED headlight designed specifically for KTM 950 and 990 Adventure models. It combines dual 3-inch LED pods with a central DRL strip, all housed within a structured 3D printed enclosure.
The lighting configuration is deliberate. The twin LED pods provide strong, focused output, while the integrated white DRL adds both daytime visibility and a distinct rally-inspired identity. The result is a balanced system that performs as well as it looks.
Everything is pre-wired and connected through a genuine waterproof 6-pin KTM-style connector, removing the need for any electrical modification. No additional setup is required. The system is designed to function as a single, cohesive unit.
Engineered for Real Conditions
The housing is produced using durable, weather-resistant ASA material, selected for its ability to withstand temperature variation, UV exposure and demanding off-road environments.
Visually, the unit follows KTM’s design language, with a signature orange exterior and a black internal honeycomb structure. Beyond aesthetics, this internal pattern contributes to structural rigidity and thermal management.
The headlight is also designed to work with OEM KTM rubber anti-vibration grommets, ensuring stability under load and during off-road use. These are the only components reused from the original setup.
Installation Without Friction
Installation is intentionally minimal.
The unit arrives fully assembled, including the LED pods and DRL strip. With the wiring already integrated, the process is reduced to mounting the unit and connecting it via the factory-style plug.
There is no cutting, no rewiring and no need for additional components.
It is a direct replacement, built to fit.
